AN EVENING WITH / UNA TARDE CON STANLEY SCHTINTER :
LAST MOVIES + PURGE.XXX
Last Movies
Entre sus proyectos se encuentran Last Movies (2023, 26 — Institute of Contemporary Arts y Bienal de Venecia), Schneewittchen (2025 — IFFR y The Barbican), The Lock-In (2022 — Oberhausen Kurzfilmtage y The Barbican) e Important Books [or, Manifestos Read by Children] (2021–2022 — Whitechapel Gallery).
Last Movies

For Real No Real, Schtinter delivers a feature-length performance, projection and lecture, specially adapted from his recent presentation in the Portuguese Pavilion at Venice Biennale.
purge.xxx
is a soundtrack-centric cult record label founded by Schtinter, who The Wire magazine celebrated for his ‘disregard for the music industry, self-promotion and prevailing cultural norms,’ and 'an ability to elevate distinct works and the obscure artists behind them’. purge.xxx collaborates with artists including Trevor Mathison (Black Audio Film Collective), Dirk Schaefer (for Matthias Müller and Peter Tscherkassky), Takashi Inagaki (for Toshio Matsumoto and Takashi Ito), trabant, Frans Zwartjes, Bruce Gilbert, Joshua Bonnetta & Valerio Tricoli, Jocelyn Pook, John Smith, Nkisi, and many more. Schtinter will play extracts from the analogue-only label, and speak about the drudgery and the joy of the dedicated anti-work purge.xxx practices.
