Lene Otis Finn

‘Lene Otis Finn’ es el nombre que reúne a Lene de Montaigu, Otis Jordan y Finn Rosenbaum. El trío ha venido tocando de forma intermitente durante los últimos años en Glasgow, a menudo al aire libre y con objetos encontrados como punto de partida. Antes de separarse y mudarse a distintas ciudades, decidieron registrar sus improvisaciones y escribir música de forma colectiva, como una manera de sellar ese tiempo compartido. Sus actuaciones en directo entrelazan los sonidos de las campanas que el propio Finn forjó en Glasgow, detrás de una piscina abandonada, con instrumentos como el armonio, la trompa, el clarinete, el sintetizador analógico y todo tipo de hallazgos cotidianos. Una música libre, frágil y textural que oscila entre lo ritual y lo espontáneo. ‘Lene Otis Finn’ tocarán la mañana del sábado 24 de mayo en Espacio Gaviota.

‘Lene Otis Finn’ is the collaborative project of Lene de Montaigu, Otis Jordan and Finn Rosenbaum. The trio have played together on and off for several years in Glasgow, often outdoors and using found objects as their starting point. Before parting ways and relocating to different cities, they decided to document their improvisations and co-write music as a way of capturing their shared time. Their live sets weave together the resonances of bells forged by Finn behind an abandoned swimming pool in Glasgow, with instruments such as harmonium, french horn, clarinet, analogue synthesizer and various everyday materials. A fragile, freeform music that drifts between the ritual and the spontaneous. ‘Lene Otis Finn’ will perform on the morning of Saturday, May 24th at Espacio Gaviota.
